Who we are

Alpuro Breeding is part of the Alpuro Group. Our speciality at Alpuro Breeding is the rearing of the next generation of dairy cows, sheep and goats. In the beginning there was an animal rearing department within the Alpuro Group, but the rapid expansion of our market share in the calf breeding market led to the foundation of Alpuro Breeding.

Our knowledge base is drawn from many years of experience in the rearing of millions of calves, and this knowledge has been applied down the years to optimise the rearing of the young stock. We continue to be actively engaged in research into the optimalisation of calf rearing. At Alpuro Breeding we see it as our role to collect the mass of research information and to pass it on to the dairy farmers in a digestible form. The services we offer are extremely wide-ranging. We are pleased to assist with smoke testing to check ventilation, the drafting of treatment plans in the event of health set-backs, assessment of livestock quality, the calibration and adjustment of feeding equipment and the design of calf housing.

Due to the fact that service and direct applicable knowledge is highly appreciated in today's dairy industry, we are looking for new export-partners.

The hands-on service, advise on-site and selling more then just a product is an important factor for our success.
We therefore are more than willing to get in contact to discuss the possibilities for future cooperation.

In the Netherlands Alpuro Breeding has it's own sales team which are offering a unique service based on a periodical visit from one of our calf rearing specialists which all have their own region.
The calf rearing specialists are not only keen in finding the right milk replacer for every situation but also disease prevention, calf housing and other practical advises are part of their daily activities.
